*Roseburg High School seeks a highly qualified individual to serve as
Head Football Coach. A successful candidate will possess the following
qualities: *
Previous Head Coaching experience preferred.
Have or be eligible to obtain Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices
Commission Licensure.
High ethical and professional standards.
The presence to be a role model for student athletes and the public
face of the program.
A commitment to the importance of academic excellence and achievement
for all student-athletes in the program.
Demonstrated ability to lead young athletes.
A highly tuned ability to communicate effectively to a variety of
stakeholders.
Skill in organization, time management, and public relations.
A thorough knowledge of football, skill development, and coaching
techniques.
*The Roseburg Head Football Coach will be responsible for the following: *
Manage all aspects of the high school program including training,
practice schedules and routines.
Hire and oversee a staff of assistant coaches with athletic director
approval.
Provide regular communication with parents/families.
Regularly track the academic progress of all student athletes in the
program and facilitate necessary sup-ports to ensure their academic
eligibility.
Cooperate with other school-sponsored sports and encourage athletes to
compete in other programs.
Develop and implement an off-season program for athletics.
Help develop the youth program below the 9th grade level.
Work with local media as needed and establish strong working
relationships with community support groups.

I was referred to you by Cindy Simmons after inquiring about posting
information for an invitational tournament we host at Rancho Solano Prep
in Scottsdale, Arizona. The tournament takes place on Dec. 28-Dec. 30
and will be NFHS Sanctioned. In the past we have hosted teams from New
York, Florida, Texas, and Canada and it would be great to make the
tournament available to teams from Oregon through your AD Listserve.

*Parkrose High School* has an immediate opening for a *Volunteer Golf
Coach* for the Spring season. It looks like we'll have about 4 boys and
4 girls (likely 1 varsity and the rest JV) that are interested in
playing this year. Recently, our home course has been Glendoveer Golf
Course. We are hoping to find someone who can supervise daily practices
