*Roseburg High School seeks a highly qualified individual to serve as 
Head Football Coach. A successful candidate will possess the following 
qualities: *

 Previous Head Coaching experience preferred.

 Have or be eligible to obtain Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices 
Commission Licensure.

 High ethical and professional standards.

 The presence to be a role model for student athletes and the public 
face of the program.

 A commitment to the importance of academic excellence and achievement 
for all student-athletes in the program.

 Demonstrated ability to lead young athletes.

 A highly tuned ability to communicate effectively to a variety of 
stakeholders.

 Skill in organization, time management, and public relations.

 A thorough knowledge of football, skill development, and coaching 
techniques.

*The Roseburg Head Football Coach will be responsible for the following: *

 Manage all aspects of the high school program including training, 
practice schedules and routines.

 Hire and oversee a staff of assistant coaches with athletic director 
approval.

 Provide regular communication with parents/families.

 Regularly track the academic progress of all student athletes in the 
program and facilitate necessary sup-ports to ensure their academic 
eligibility.

 Cooperate with other school-sponsored sports and encourage athletes to 
compete in other programs.

 Develop and implement an off-season program for athletics.

 Help develop the youth program below the 9th grade level.

 Work with local media as needed and establish strong working 
relationships with community support groups.

Hood River Valley lost a softball game and is looking to play (home or

*Boys’ Head Basketball Coach at CMHS*

Coaching positions require a valid first aid card, anti-discrimination 
affidavit, completed district application form, Federal I-9 form, W-4, 
and knowledge of athletic conditioning and training.  All coaches will 
be required to be ASEP certified in order to coach at the high school 
level.  Applicants will be fingerprinted in accordance with Oregon Law 
if offered employment.  Salary by contractual agreement.  AA/EOE

and can be dropped off at Clatskanie Mid/High School, 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 
p.m., Monday thru Friday. Applications for this position will be taken 
until the position is filled.

Santiam High School is looking for a JV baseball game or two during the 
week of April 4 through the 7th. Would love to schedule two games this 
week, Mon Wed or Tues Thur. Just cant play Friday the 8th or Sat the 
9th. Willing to travel. If you want us to host we would need to play Mon 
the 4th or Wed the 6th.
