Coaching Position: JVII Boys Soccer

Key points of the job description for an Assistant Coach:

- High ethical and professional standards.

- Be a role model for high school student-athletes.

- Cooperate with other school-sponsored sports by encouraging athletes 
to compete in other programs.

- Develop and sustain a strong relationship with parents, coaches and 
others involved both in LHS Soccer Program and High School.

- Monitor the academic progress of athletes

- Previous coaching/playing experience preferred

All new hired coaches will need to complete the following prior to 
employment:

1.  NFHS Certification

2.  First Aid Card  (CPR and AED trained)

3.  District Fingerprinting/Criminal check

4.  Completion of OSAA Concussion Test

5.  Completion of ODE Steroid Test

6.  Completion of OSAA Heat Test

7.  Completion of School District and OSAA paperwork.

*Wilson High School - Head Coach Position, Varsity Women’s Lacrosse**
Portland, Oregon*
Wilson High School (WHS) in Portland, Oregon seeks a women's lacrosse 
Head Coach to provide instruction and guidance to student-athletes, 
demonstrating techniques of the sport and physical training expertise to 
prepare players for competition.  WHS fields both Junior Varsity and 
Varsity teams with strong support from parent volunteers and a 
formalized WHS Lacrosse Board available to support the coaches.  The 
season spans from February through May, with games and practices held in 
the late afternoon and evening hours.  Responsibilities of this paid 
position include supervision of all student athletes; working with 
assistant coaches and the youth program coaches; planning practices, 
physical training, and game strategies; and supporting off season 
training.  The Head Coach must attend all practices, competitions, and 
travel with the team for away games.  Previous collegiate playing 
experience and three to five years of high school coaching experience is 
preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are 
required.  Must maintain current coaching certification from US Lacrosse 
at Level I and II or be prepared to complete certifications.
