Head Track Coach.  A successful candidate will possess the following

    achievement for all student-athletes in the program.
  * Demonstrated ability to lead young athletes

  * A thorough knowledge of wrestling, skill development, and coaching

*The GHS Head Track Coach will be responsible for the following:*

    practice schedules and routines.
  * Hire and oversee a staff of assistant coaches
  * Provide regular communication with parents/families
  * Regularly track the academic progress of all student athletes in the
    program and facilitate necessary supports to ensure their academic
    eligibility.
  * Cooperate with other school-sponsored sports and encourage athletes
    to compete in other programs.
  * Develop and implement an off-season program for athletics.
  * Oversee a youth program below the 9th grade level.
  * Work with local media as needed and establish strong working
    relationships with community support groups.

*_All new hired coaches will need to complete the following prior to 
employment:_*

1.  NFHS Certification.

2.  First Aid Card.

3.  District Fingerprinting/Criminal Check.

4.  Completion of OSAA Concussion Test.

5.  Completion of OSAA Steroid Program.

6.  Completion of School District and OSAA paperwork.

7.  Completion of OSAA Heat Acclimatization and Heat Illness Prevention.

8.  Completion of All District Requirements and employment forms.

*_Applicants are asked to submit:_*

1.  Letter of application detailing your experience related to this

3.  A minimum of three letters or recommendation.
