- High ethical and professional standards.

- Be a role model for high school student-athletes.

- Cooperate with other school-sponsored sports by encouraging athletes 
to compete in other programs.

- Develop and sustain a strong relationship with parents, coaches and 
others involved both in LHS Tennis Program and High School.

- Monitor the academic progress of athletes

- Previous coaching/playing experience preferred

All new hired coaches will need to complete the following prior to 
employment:

1.  NFHS Certification

2.  First Aid Card  (CPR and AED trained)

3.  District Fingerprinting/Criminal check

4.  Completion of OSAA Concussion Test

5.  Completion of ODE Steroid Test

6.  Completion of OSAA Heat Test

7.  Completion of School District and OSAA paperwork.

Wrestling tournament opening.

Due to a cancellation, West Albany High School has an immediate opening 
for our 2017 Tod Surmon Dual Meet Wresting Tournament on February 4th.  
We are looking for teams that can fill a full lineup.  The tournament is 
designed to get each school 5 varsity dual meets and be done by 4:00 
PM.  The tournament also has a separate JV tournament.  All JV wrestlers 
will be put into a four person bracket.  The goal of the JV tournament 
is to get matches for all wrestlers.
