Coaches,

With the many cancellations due to snow, there are quite a few teams 
scrambling to pick up another date. West Albany High School is willing 
to expand to more teams for the 2017 Tod Surmon Dual Meet Wresting 
Tournament on *Saturday, February 4th*. This will be a team dual 
tournament with *5 duals for each school*. There will also be JV/novice 
wrestling in 4-man brackets. The goal of the JV tournament is to get 
matches for all wrestlers.

Rogue River Jr./Sr. High School is looking for 8man or 11man football 
games on Sept. 8^th and 15^th . We are willing to travel to one of those 
games. We are in the midst of a rebuilding cycle and will still be 
relatively young. Most of our team will be Jr/Soph/Frosh. Please let me

Issaquah High School is looking for Week 8 non-leagues for the fall of 
2017. Possible dates could be 10/20 or 10/21. We would be willing to 
travel. Is there a way to send that out via a listserv for coaches 
around the state to try to match up for a game? We are 4A school and I 
would say average at Football.

This Message is from _Cleve Thompson, Oregon Wrestling Classic , Chairman_:

First, I want everyone to know that we are very concerned that all 
teams, parents and others take every precaution in all travel 
arrangements. The "Plan" at this time is that the Oregon Classic for all 
High Schools that can make the trip is a go!  In addition, the Girls 
High School Duals are a go! for the teams that are able to make the trip 
to Redmond.  The Kids & Cadet OWC will continue as scheduled with 
weigh-ins on Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 pm and 6:00 to 7:00.  The Kids & 
Cadet Tournament will start on schedule on Sunday, Jan. 15th at 8:00 -- 
Gates will open at 6:45 am.

Regarding the High School Tournament we are currently talking with OSAA 
about possible weigh-ins at home schools for Friday weigh-ins.  We will 
let everyone know when we have a decision from OSAA.  Second we are 
considering delaying the start of the Tournament on Friday until a time 
to be determined.

This information is still in process and we would like your input 
regarding these ideas. Please, Please when you think about these ideas 
to keep in mind what is in the best interest of the greatest number of 
schools. We are working to try to help as many school as possible to 
have access to the tournament as the weather improves on Thursday and 
Friday.

The Tournament will go on with the teams that can attend.  The College 
Women's Tournament is a Go! ( we make adjustments to the weigh-in 
schedule as needed). The Kids & Cadets on Sunday is a Go! and the Girls 
Open Tournament on Saturday is a Go!
