Canyonville Christian Academy is trying to find games outside of the 
league (currently weak in the MVC 2A) where we could be potentially 
competitive in the after Christmas part of the season basketball, and 
the volleyball season.

I'm thinking, due to possible redistricting proposals by the OSAA, now 
might be a good time to explore possibilities of something different...

I've spent a little time researching and have determined that we'd like 
to play A) within reasonable driving distance (2.5-3 hours) and, B) also 
teams that had maybe less than stellar seasons the past few years.

Would any/all of you be interested in putting together an after 
Christmas basketball schedule? If I could find even 10 after January 7th 
games, I could potentially go independent. I don't really care about 
state playoffs, but I would love games to be competitive, with potential 
wins from either team. So far, especially my girls team has had no 
success with this for many years.

Our volleyball team is in the same situation. We haven't won a game for 
many years. Any interest in volleyball games, replacing our league ones?

We are located at exit 98 off I-5 for anyone interested in what the 
travel might look like.
