Condon HS is in the process of looking for and hiring an Athletic
Director for the district and a head boys basketball coach for the
Condon/Wheeler boys team for the next school year. Currently there are
two teaching positions open in the Condon School District, a 7^th /8^th
self-contained classroom position, and a high school social studies/PE
position. The teaching jobs have previously been posted on the website
for open teaching positions in Oregon. If you are interested in these

Blanchet Catholic School located in Salem, OR, a member of the 3A
PacWest Conference invites applications for the position of Boys Head
Basketball Coach. This is an established program with trips to the 3A
State Tournament for 7 consecutive years and talented returning players.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have:
·Proven experience coaching and/or playing basketball in a manner that
is consistent with good sportsmanship.
·Working knowledge of high school basketball operations;
·Strong commitment to the academic goals of the school and the academic
success of the student athlete;
·Demonstrates good communication and organizational skills.

To High School Athletic Directors and Varsity Soccer Coaches:
We invite your boys and girls varsity soccer teams to the first Lowry
Buckaroo Invitational Soccer Tournament in Winnemucca, NV on August
25^th and 26^th 2017.
This pre-season tournament will allow teams to play against some tough
competition. Teams will be invited from Nevada as well as Idaho, Oregon,
and California.The tournament will allow up to 16 boys teams and 16
girls teams. Each team will be guaranteed three matches from pool play
in two days. The winner of each pool will finish the tournament in a
four-team bracket.Games will consist of two 30-minute halves. Games that
end in a tie will go into an automatic shootout.
Entry fee for the tournament will be $250 per team.The entry deadline
will be May 19^th , 2017.Once all teams have registered, a link will be
sent out with brackets that will be updated during the tournament.
The Winnemucca Boys and Girls Club will sell concessions during the
tournament. There will be a coach’s social Friday night at the Boys and
Girls Club.
There are a many accommodations available in Winnemucca.

Boys Brookings-Harbor "Beat the Heat" Summer Basketball Tourney
This year the tourney is June 23rd thru the 25th. 4 Games Guaranteed,
one on Friday, two on Saturday, and one on Sunday. Round Robin format
for both JV and Varsity Teams. We will have a 1-Minute Tourney coached
only by the players themselves and a 3 point and slam dunk contest. You
can sleep on campus, rent a camping spot in town or rent a house on the
Beach. You can also rent Kayaks and Team Build on the Chetco River. The
cost of the Tourney is $120 per team or $200 for both. Reserve your spot!
Coaches will have the option to either do some guided Ocean Fishing or
Golf 18 holes at Salmon Run Saturday Morning. Your choice...

*On May 6th, Gladstone hosts our annual Dick Baker Invitational.* At
this time, we would like to extend an invitation to any of your
*para-athletes.* As you might know, the OSAA has included para-athletes
in this year's State Track Meet. Last year the inclusion was exhibition
only, however this year measures and guideline will be made to include
the successes of your para-athlete in the team scoring as well. Please
email me if you intend to participate in our invitational on May 6 for
your para-athlete only.
