Coach. *All candidates must have prior coaching experience.

Some key elements of the job description for a Head Coach are:

·High ethical and professional standards.

·Must have knowledge of a variety of offensive and defensive techniques 
and strategies.

·Must have knowledge of team dynamics at the high school level.

·Must have a plan to create a productive relationship with youth sports 
organization.

·Establish a relationship with the community support groups.

·Be an appropriate role model for high school-student athletics.

·Must have the ability to work in a cooperative and harmonious manner to 
be part of a school-wide athletic program.

·Develop and implement an off-season conditioning program.

·Must be creative and involved in fundraising programs.

_All new hired coaches will need to complete the following prior to 
employment:_

1. NFHS Certification

2. First Aid / CPR Card

3. District Background check

4. Completion of OSAA Concussion Test

5. Completion of OSAA Steroid Test

6. NFHS Guide to Heat Acclimatization and Heat Illness Prevention Course

7. OSAA Sprit Safety Clinic

8. Completion of School District and OSAA paperwork

3. Current experience related to this position and working with students

Wilson HS has an opening for Head Boys Basketball Coach (closes May 11).

We have teaching openings for next year in Math and possibly others.

Candidates will need to submit cover letter, resume and three letters of 
rec. Before hire a coach will need to complete District fingerprinting, 
OSAA Certifications, ODE Steroid Test, and First Aid training.

Sutherlin High School is looking for 2 more girls teams and 3 more boys 
teams to attend the annual Bill Spelgatti Basketball Tournament next 
season.  The dates are November 30th-December 2^nd . All games are 
played in our main high school gym and it is a 3 game guarantee as
