Hello,

I am writing to tentatively invite students from your school to our 
first annual Panther Weightlifting Competition.  The intent will be to 
promote enthusiasm for lifting in a competitive yet positive format.

Date:March 9th, (Weekend before spring competitions begin)

Time:Weigh-ins Teams at home Friday Night) Individuals 8am-8:30am,

Competition 9am-done (est 4pm)

Location:Central HS, Independence Oregon

Divisions:Boys 9/10, Boys 11/12, Girls 9-12

Each division will have weight classes within them

Awards:Trophy to overall team champions (all 3 divisions combined)  and 
possibly

division champions also (depending on # of contestants)

T-shirts and medals to weight class winners. Ribbons 2nd-6th place

Cost:Team (school) rate 1-40 athletes = $200 41+ = $300

Individual rate =$20

Formatt:Each lifter will get 3 attempts in Bench Press, Squat, and Power 
Clean.

The total amount of weight lifted in all 3 lifts combined will determine 
weight class winners.

Please email in response if your school may be interested.  I will send 
more details as the date approaches. Also feel free to pass this 
information on to anyone else who may be interested.
